General terms and conditions

 Welcome to Bed & Breakfast Kortenhoefsedijk. These general terms and conditions come into effect when a reservation is confirmed.  We look forward to having you as our guest and have some general terms and conditions to ensure your stay is an enjoyable experience.

Main Guest: The person who has made a reservation at B&B Kortenhoefsedijk


  1. The main guest must be 18 years of age or older, is responsible for his or her fellow guests, must have a permanent residence/address and carry a valid identity document.
  2. The prices off the rooms can be found at prices include breakfast, use of towels, bathrobes, bed linen, water, heating, electricity and final cleaning.
  3. Our B&B is not suitable for children and wheelchair users or persons with mobility limitation.
  4. Our bedrooms are suitable for a maximum occupancy of two persons per bedroom.
  5. We grant our guests a carefree stay.  However, we bear no responsibility for loss, theft, accidents, personal injuries, medical expenses or damage to property caused by personal inattentiveness or by circumstances beyond our control.
  6. Of course, we expect our guests to report any damage or loss to us.
  7. We appreciate that our neighbours can experience you as pleasant guests.  
  8. Bed and Breakfast Kortenhoefsedijk is not liable for failures in and around the accommodation, such as power outages, WiFi disconnections, water supplies and technical installations, as well as construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the B&B.
  9. The owner or manager may, in case of violation of the Terms and Conditions and inappropriate behaviour, with immediate effect, deny guests access to Bed & Breakfast Kortenhoefsedijk and/or refuse, without further notice and statement of reasons and without refund of the accommodation costs.
  10. The administration of the owner is decisive in case of disagreement unless the guests can prove otherwise.
  11. We expect guests of Bed & Breakfast Kortenhoefsedijk to abide by the house rules and general conditions.

Reservation and payment

  1. A reservation can be made by telephone, e-mail, via our website, via or via Bed and Breakfast Netherlands.
  2. After receiving a reservation request, B&B Kortenhoefsedijk will send a confirmation if the guesthouse is available. The reservation is then confirmed.
  3. The guest will pay the full amount of the reservation on arrival in cash, debit or credit card.


  1. B&B Kortenhoefsedijk apply a flexible cancellation policy.
  2. In case of cancellation of the reservation the following conditions apply:
    – In case of cancellation one week or more before the arrival date; no cancellation fee.
    – If cancelled 7 days or less before the date of arrival or in case of no-show; the first night will be charged.
  3. The owner reserves judgement to deviate from the above cancellation condition, for example, in case of calamities.
  4. In case of early departure there will be no refund.
  5. B&B Kortenhoefsedijk may only cancel a reservation in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owner or family, or hospitalization.
  6. If any of these unfortunate events happen, the owner or manager will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible.
  7. Any costs resulting from the cancellation will not be reimbursed by the owner. You must take care of a cancellation and/or travel insurance.

Arrival and departure

  1. On the date of arrival, the guesthouse is available from 2pm an can be checked in until 10pm.
  2. It is appreciated if we can receive the estimated time of arrival in advance.
  3. Other check-in times are possible in agreement with the owner.
  4. Because we have to clean the guesthouse, it is necessary to leave before 11 am on the day of departure.
  5. A late check-out is possible in agreement when the guesthouse is available; check-out before 12am. Later check-out against additional payment.


Of course, we do our best to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable experience.  If despite our good care, there is a complaint, we would like to hear about it right away so that we can immediately address the issue together.
